There is a very awesome movie coming out in March that I cannot wait to see. God's Not Dead is a film that I believe will make an impact for God. I encourage you to go see it when it comes out, I sure will! Here is the synopsis from the movie's website;
How far would you go...to defend your belief in God?
Present-day college freshmen and devout Christian, Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), finds his faith challenged on his first day of philosophy class by the dogmatic and argumentative professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo). Radisson begins class by informing students that they will need to disavow, in writing, the existence of God on that first day, or face a failing grade. As other students in the class begin scribbling the words "God is dead" on pieces of paper as instructed, Josh finds himself at a crossroads, having to choose between his faith and his future. Josh offers a nervous refusal, provoking an irate reaction from his smug professor. Radisson assigns him a daunting task: if Josh will not admit that "God is dead", he must prove God's existence by presenting well-researched, intellectual arguments and evidence over the course of the semester, and engage Radisson in a head-to-head debate in front of the class. If Josh fails to convince his classmates of God's existence, he will fail the course and hinder his lofty academic goals. With almost no one in his corner, Josh wonders if he can really fight for what he believes. Can he actually prove the existence of God? Wouldn't it just be easier to write "God is dead" and put the whole incident behind him? God's Not Dead weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The film will educate, entertain, and inspire moviegoers to explore what they really believe about God, igniting important conversations and life-changing decisions.
I for one will support this movie and spread the word. We all must do so! Here is a move that needs to be seen! Here is a message that needs to be heard! I pray that this film reaches many lives, bringing many to the Kingdom!

On a different topic...
I know I've been writing mostly about my eBook, Wings of Honor, that is about to be published; but there is another topic of interest that must be mentioned.
I'm sure you've heard something about the upcoming debate between Creationist Ken Ham and Evolutionist Bill Nye. If not, I'll give you a little info.
President and CEO of Christian apologetics ministry Answers In Genesis, Ken Ham has defended the truth and authenticity of Genesis for years. He strongly believes that we must teach the truth of our creation and the Creator, and that we should be ready and able to defend the Word of God.
Evolutionist Bill Nye, the former host of the PBS show "Bill Nye The Science Guy" is an outspoken evolutionist who openly attacks the Biblical Worldview.
Ken Ham recently revealed that the debate will take place on February 4th, at AiG's Creation Museum near Cincinnati. He said that the debate "Will be one of our major events in 2014 to highlight how children and teens are being influenced by evolutionary thinking."
I believe that this debate will help bring awareness of the dangers of evolution and the need to return to and defend God's Word. Please keep Ken Ham in your prayers, that he will stand strong and God will give him the words to say. Also pray that Mr. Nye will be open to the truth, and that he will come to know the Lord in a personal, life-changing way.

Wings of Honor Cover
Here is the cover of Wings of Honor, a story based in a medieval-like world that tells of the battle between light and darkness.
Wings of Honor synopsis
Here is the synopsis for my upcoming eBook, Wings of Honor!
For many decades, stories of betrayal,
darkness, and blood have surrounded the mysterious land of Aragnar. Leagues
away, these stories seem quite distant on Whitecliff Island, but not for long. When
a young woman is thrust into a dangerous series of events, her destiny is
forever changed. The choices she must make will not only alter her life, but
those of everyone around her.
From
the time Maria Fellbane was a young child, she had always known she was
different. Scorned and rejected; her people are hated for following and
believing in an all-mighty ruler many say does not exist. Haunted by a fiery
past and hurt by tragic loss, Maria
lives by only one creed; protect her family at all costs and follow the One
True King. When the tyrannical King Raveyn seeks to destroy her and her people,
their fragile lives are turned upside down in a desperate race to escape the
coming storm. When everything she knows and loves is taken from her, Maria must
make a choice that will determine her fate and destiny. Will she trust a
mysterious band of winged warriors who wish to bring freedom to her land, or
will her family and everything they believe in be lost forever?
Wings
of Honor is a tale of persecution, trials, and courage. It asks a simple
question; what would you do if everything was taken away from you? If every
mask and lie was stripped away, leaving only who you really are, who would you
be?
Now is the time to find
out.

What happens when I stay up late with an urge to write? ...Sometimes that answer can be awesome, intense, epic...or just plain creepy...
Here's an excerpt from a project I'm working on...it is definitely going to be a ride...
Dust covered stones crunched underneath booted feet, sending puffs of parched earth and sand into the air. Heat waves shimmered brightly in the distance, and to the untrained eye the bleached white sand appeared as water, rippling lightly in the slight breeze that blew softly.
Despite the scorching sunlight that bore down on the earth below, the tall man wore all black. Rivulets of sweat dribbled down his face, and the man’s charcoal sweat-soaked hair hung limply around the back and sides of his neck.
As he neared, the man almost grimaced…but he shook off emotions such as hate. Emotions only caused defeat, and defeat was not an option. A tall building near the entrance demanded awe. A large polished white cross rose high in the sky, a beacon of hope for all…
Hope…the man spat to his right and glared up at the sight with narrowed eyes. Hope was dangerous. With hope, miracles could occur. With or without hope, these people would see miracles. But not necessarily the kind they were used to. He was the first of his kind to enter this town unnoticed…but he had a feeling that that would change soon…too soon. He would use his unannounced arrival to his advantage before things went sour.
And when things went sour, the fun would begin.
That was one of the begenning scenes to Eleven, a novel that is sure to have thrills, chills, and spills! Who knows when it will be done, but when it is, it's going to be awesome!

Despite the scorching sunlight that bore down on the earth below, the tall man wore all black. Rivulets of sweat dribbled down his face, and the man’s charcoal sweat-soaked hair hung limply around the back and sides of his neck.
In one hand the man held a canteen of water, and in the
other, a gun. His large hand absently tightened around the rifle every few
minutes before relaxing. Out of habit or randomness no one knew. The man
himself was not sure. All he knew was that the gun was a tool…a tool of power…one
to be used wisely.
No one knows me, but they will…you bet they
will. Soon, things will change.
A grin stretched on his face, showing gleaming white teeth.
The man raised the canteen to his lips and took a deep gulp of water, then wiped
his stubbly chin with his sleeve.
A scream sounded off…echoing eerily in the wind. It was far
and distant, but not distant enough to escape the man’s ears. He peered into
the seething distance and saw a building ahead, which was only one of many that
lined a dirt road. It seemed peaceful and serene; your typical Nevada town, but
the man knew this was far from the truth.
This is where it all begins…so be it. They’re
screaming…and they don’t know why. But soon, they will…you bet they will…
The man turned towards the buildings, and began the long,
tedious walk across the rocky terrain. The wind blew in powerful gusts, picking
up dust and sand in its wake. The dust coated him in a thin brown film, making
his black clad attire appear less ominous. But no matter, the more he looked
like he belonged here, the better for first impressions. As he neared, the man almost grimaced…but he shook off emotions such as hate. Emotions only caused defeat, and defeat was not an option. It is time to rise!
Deep inside every human's
soul, they silently scream for a savior.
And yet, despite their hate,
they still cry out for someone to come and save them. They yearn to drown in
His love, but have lost their way.
Despite wretched souls like
these, mercy came. the Ruler and Creator of all, Jesus' power had no bounds.
Through humility and
compassion He waged a different kind of war, a battle fought not waged by blade
and blood, but mercy.
Once again ignorance and deception are attacking this land. A people, if united under a common cause, could stand strong. This is war! It is not a racial war, a political war, a religious war, or even a war of ideals and opinions. It is a war that has been raging since the dawn of time, a battle between good and evil. It is time for people to WAKE UP! We spend so much time and energy in things that do not matter, and yet fail to remember our true calling; setting the captives free and showing them God's wondrous love. We need to rise above the deception and see the truth behind the lies! We cannot afford to be afraid to tell the truth, for the truth will set us free!
Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal…none of these things matter anymore! We must cast these molds aside and love one another! Black, white, what really is the difference? We are all human! We all feel pain, hurt, regret, happiness and love; it hurts my heart to see Christians caught up in the demonic assault.
It is time to rise! We must no longer stay in this state, it is time for us to take a stand for what we believe in! If we do not raise the standard, who will? If we do not make a stand, who will? It is our time to make a difference in this dark day, we need to allow God to shine through us, and if we do, anything can happen. We must make a difference, and the only way for us to do so is if we make a stand.
