God's Not Dead!

There is a very awesome movie coming out in March that I cannot wait to see. God's Not Dead is a film that I believe will make an impact for God. I encourage you to go see it when it comes out, I sure will! Here is the synopsis from the movie's website;

How far would you go...to defend your belief in God?

Present-day college freshmen and devout Christian, Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), finds his faith challenged on his first day of philosophy class by the dogmatic and argumentative professor Radisson (Kevin Sorbo). Radisson begins class by informing students that they will need to disavow, in writing, the existence of God on that first day, or face a failing grade. As other students in the class begin scribbling the words "God is dead" on pieces of paper as instructed, Josh finds himself at a crossroads, having to choose between his faith and his future. Josh offers a nervous refusal, provoking an irate reaction from his smug professor. Radisson assigns him a daunting task: if Josh will not admit that "God is dead", he must prove God's existence by presenting well-researched, intellectual arguments and evidence over the course of the semester, and engage Radisson in a head-to-head debate in front of the class. If Josh fails to convince his classmates of God's existence, he will fail the course and hinder his lofty academic goals. With almost no one in his corner, Josh wonders if he can really fight for what he believes. Can he actually prove the existence of God? Wouldn't it just be easier to write "God is dead" and put the whole incident behind him? God's Not Dead weaves together multiple stories of faith, doubt and disbelief, culminating in a dramatic call to action. The film will educate, entertain, and inspire moviegoers to explore what they really believe about God, igniting important conversations and life-changing decisions.

I for one will support this movie and spread the word. We all must do so! Here is a move that needs to be seen! Here is a message that needs to be heard! I pray that this film reaches many lives, bringing many to the Kingdom!

On a different topic...

I know I've been writing mostly about my eBook, Wings of Honor, that is about to be published; but there is another topic of interest that must be mentioned.

I'm sure you've heard something about the upcoming debate between Creationist Ken Ham and Evolutionist Bill Nye. If not, I'll give you a little info.

President and CEO of Christian apologetics ministry Answers In Genesis, Ken Ham has defended the truth and authenticity of Genesis for years. He strongly believes that we must teach the truth of our creation and the Creator, and that we should be ready and able to defend the Word of God.

Evolutionist Bill Nye, the former host of the PBS show "Bill Nye The Science Guy" is an outspoken evolutionist who openly attacks the Biblical Worldview.

Ken Ham recently revealed that the debate will take place on February 4th, at AiG's Creation Museum near Cincinnati. He said that the debate "Will be one of our major events in 2014 to highlight how children and teens are being influenced by evolutionary thinking."

I believe that this debate will help bring awareness of the dangers of evolution and the need to return to and defend God's Word. Please keep Ken Ham in your prayers, that he will stand strong and God will give him the words to say. Also pray that Mr. Nye will be open to the truth, and that he will come to know the Lord in a personal, life-changing way.

Here is the promo poster for Wings of Honor! The estimated release date is set for February. More details will be coming soon!

Wings of Honor Cover

Here is the cover of Wings of Honor, a story based in a medieval-like world that tells of the battle between light and darkness.

Wings of Honor synopsis

Here is the synopsis for my upcoming eBook, Wings of Honor!

For many decades, stories of betrayal, darkness, and blood have surrounded the mysterious land of Aragnar. Leagues away, these stories seem quite distant on Whitecliff Island, but not for long. When a young woman is thrust into a dangerous series of events, her destiny is forever changed. The choices she must make will not only alter her life, but those of everyone around her.
From the time Maria Fellbane was a young child, she had always known she was different. Scorned and rejected; her people are hated for following and believing in an all-mighty ruler many say does not exist. Haunted by a fiery past and  hurt by tragic loss, Maria lives by only one creed; protect her family at all costs and follow the One True King. When the tyrannical King Raveyn seeks to destroy her and her people, their fragile lives are turned upside down in a desperate race to escape the coming storm. When everything she knows and loves is taken from her, Maria must make a choice that will determine her fate and destiny. Will she trust a mysterious band of winged warriors who wish to bring freedom to her land, or will her family and everything they believe in be lost forever?
Wings of Honor is a tale of persecution, trials, and courage. It asks a simple question; what would you do if everything was taken away from you? If every mask and lie was stripped away, leaving only who you really are, who would you be?
Now is the time to find out.
