Have you ever come to a spot in life when you are about to take a big step of faith, and then everything seems to crash down?
It seems that something good was about to happen, and then BAM, something bad rushes in. It could be a bad decision, bad day, a sudden circumstance or problem; but you think that all that seems to matter is the problem you now face.
But no matter what may happen, we must realize that we have two choices; give in to the fear, or stand up and fight.
The enemy wants us to feel defeated, he wants us to feel like we've been beaten and can't get back up again. He so desperately wants you to believe that you are down and out, and that nothing or no one can change that. But he is a liar, and he is wrong.
You see, the devil knows that we have a destiny that God has planned for us from the beginning, and he most certainly does not want us to discover this fact. If we were to discover who we really were and stood up against him, things would go really bad for the enemy.
We are warriors in the Army of The Lord, and we have weapons to fight his wicked schemes. And the only way we will be ready and equipped to fight the enemy is by reading His Word. His Word is our sword, and we can use that sword to deal heavy damage on the enemy.
The devil knows his day is coming, and he will try to drag down as many people to hell with him as he can. He is working overtime right now, determined to spread hate, lies, deception, and destruction in our world and our ranks. We must stand up and not let that continue.
We must realize that our voices are our weapons. We can use our voices, words, and actions to glorify God instead of satan, and we need more people who are unashamed to do so! We can sit around and complain about the world we live in, but it will never change unless people like us who see the problem do something about it!
The time is over when we could sit and complain. Now is the time for action! You can do something. Yes, you. It may not seem big or important, but whatever you do for the Kingdom (or are doing) will make an impact. That impact might not be the huge splash you were hoping for, but you never know who will be ministered too. Even if whatever you did only saved one person from hell, it would be worth it all.
As Christians, we need to re-focus on God and not on the things of this world. We need to read His Word more (trust me, I need to do the same) and spend more time in His presence. He will give us wisdom and knowledge for the challenges we will face. All we must do is trust Him.
So next time the enemy throws something your way, instead of cowering in fear, stand up and rise your sword in the air!
Devil, get away from me, my family, friends, belongings, and everything else! I am a child of God and you cannot stand! You are under my feet, and have no power over me, for I am a conqueror and you are defeated!
In the name of Jesus Christ, the One True King, Amen!

The Hearts of Young People Today
This is an article I wrote for a friend's newsletter, enjoy!
In our world today it is increasingly difficult to find light in the darkness that surrounds us. Temptations are stronger, self-control is weaker; and the world grows darker day by day. The enemy is targeting the youth of this generation; he wants to snuff them out before they can arise to their God given destinies. The deterioration of God in our lives and the erosion of the family have caused people to go after fulfilling the lust of their flesh. Youth have grown rebellious, they do not submit to authority, they have no work ethic, and the temptation of drugs, sex, and alcohol has increased even more so than before.

Youth have grown rebellious, they do not submit to authority, they have no work ethic, and the temptation of drugs, sex, and alcohol has increased even more so than before.
The good news is that there are many who are sold
out for Christ and make a difference, and it is those kinds of young people
that need to witness to their peers. We need to rise to the challenge and make
a difference! We are supposed to stand in the gap and be a light. We can do so
through prayer. Prayer is so important, and we do not see how much prayer can
impact the supernatural. We need to pray for those who have been influenced by
worldly things.
As Christians, we are to reach out to the lost and
the broken and lead them to The Lord. We are to show them the love of God, even
when that may be difficult to do so. There are people that have come from
abusive families, and they may not know how to love because they have never
been shown love. For some they feel like there is no hope, and many have
committed suicide because they feel like their lives are worthless. Their lives
are far from worthless; God loves them just as much as you and I. We need to love
them and reach out to those who have been hurt. We should not make fun of them
like everyone else or ignore them. The Bible says that God is love; we should
love and respect each other. People get very busy in their day to day
lifestyles, and we all can fall easily into that pattern. But we need to stop
thinking about ourselves and think about others. We all have all fallen into
that infamous rut of “Me myself and I” from time to time; but now we must
change. The lives of some of these youths may very well depend on us, and we
cannot take that lightly.
One of the most common things youth face is
peer pressure. It doesn’t matter whether it is at school, church, or any other
place; peer pressure can be dangerous. Christians have to face these things and
make the choice not to fall into sin. It may be difficult at times, but it will
be worth it in the end. We need to defy peer pressure and stand out. We do not
need to be normal. Jesus died on the cross for our sins; He defied death and
rose again! What he did was not normal, nor should we be! So with that said I
will now say this; love is one of the most powerful things in this world, and
love can alter lives. So dare to be different and stand out!
"Battle Cry" A Poem
This is a poem The Lord lay on my heart one night. Here is the final product!
In days of old warriors fought for their king, they rose to the challenge to hear freedom ring.
The battles are now over and the kingdoms forgotten and now people ask; how better has life gotten?
Life is easier; or so they say. It now seems that most people are only concerned with their day.
They go to work, speak of politics and daily hub bub, and when at home they just sleep ‘cuase they’ve had enough. Some people do their best to make it through the day; struggling, fighting, trying to survive, cuase they just wanna stay alive.
But oh no, Christians are different, they are perfect, religious, and so self-esteemed; no one could imagine them doing any wrong thing!
But so far from the truth, a myth spoken in lies, we are still people; human lives.
We make mistakes, slip-up and get very confused; and sometimes we don’t win; we lose. But there is a difference between us and the common man; we are part of a master plan.
As it was in the old, so it is in the new. Soldiers arise, fight wars, settle scores, and through the raging wars, they battle for our freedom. Christians are supposed to be the same; we should know that war is no game. For we battle every day; it not flesh and blood, then a spiritual battle, which is hard enough.
When you find yourself on the edge of a valley steeped in the shadow of death; you can’t go around it, you must press forward though you feel so alone. The darkness swallows the faintest glimmer of light, and you just don’t know if everything’s gonna be alright. Are Christians the only ones who feel this way?
No so. Soldiers also encounter the same. But unlike the soldiers, who know not the outcome of their conflict, we know we are promised victory. One day our king will return, and all will be set free. Peace will rule and the blind will see.
But until that day comes, we must fight for what is right, even if we lose our lives in the fight. The darkness may rise and the evil may roar, but out of the shadows a whirlwind shall soar.
The darkness shall be shattered in the wake of a thousand flames, and all will see the mighty glory of His name. So rise up, do battle; answer the call! For we fight against a foe that would consume us all!
We are warriors of the King, and as we march into battle, our hearts will sing. We know the outcome, we know the score! In the name of Jesus Christ we shall win this war!

We are conquers, warriors and even more; we are
God’s children, made for war! So never forget who you are; strap on your armor,
shield and sword. Even at work, school, or play, never forget who you are this
day!
So choose
this day whom you will serve, for as with me and my house, we shall serve the
Lord!
